What we collect and why:

You don't have to give us your email. If you don't, we can't email your result.
Our checker figures estimator runs in your browser: the numbers you type never reach us.
Who we share it with. Only service providers that run the site for us, under contract:
- our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud)
- Resend, which sends the result and reminder emails
- MailerLite, which sends updates, only if you ticked the box
- Plausible, for cookieless visit statistics
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, for example in the EU or the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Email us for a copy of the safeguards.
How long we keep it:
- If you didn't tick the updates box, we delete your email 3 months after your reminder date, or 3 months after you asked for your result if there's no reminder.
- If you did tick it, we keep your email until you unsubscribe.
- After 24 months, we remove email addresses from all records and keep only the anonymous answers.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent. Email hello@taxedornot.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
